This service was built with a specific client in mind: small arts and culture nonprofits, independent artists, and creative organizations that have outgrown DIY bookkeeping but are not yet in a position to justify a full-time hire. You operate in an industry where most financial professionals do not speak your language. We do.
With a background spanning nonprofit development, grant administration and arts sector consulting, Dr. Nero brings sector fluency that general bookkeeping services cannot offer. We understand restricted versus unrestricted funds, the grant reporting cycle, artist income structures, and the financial pressures particular to mission-driven and creative work.
Sliding scale rates
Bookkeeping services are offered on a sliding scale based on organizational or individual revenue, with rates starting at $35/hour. Scope and pricing are determined during intake.
